How it all began...

We’re Lisa and Mark – partners and founders of Avion.

For years, we both struggled with foot pain. Long days, busy schedules and shoes that either didn’t fit well or simply didn’t look good. We tried everything - from expensive brands to custom insoles - but nothing truly worked. Especially with orthopedic shoes, we hit a wall: functional, yes, but stylish? Hardly.

During a holiday in Spain - where walking caused more pain than relaxation - we said to each other: there has to be a better way. Why should comfort and design be mutually exclusive?

Back in the Netherlands, we started sketching, testing and talking to specialists. That’s how the idea for Avion was born: a brand that combines medical support with refined, timeless design. For people like us - who want to walk well, feel good and look great.

What began as our personal search has grown into a brand that now brings relief and confidence to thousands of feet. And this is only the beginning.
